Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect in the first session?

The first session is about getting to know each other. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, your goals, and how we can work together. It's a no-pressure conversation to see if we're a good fit.

How long are sessions?

Individual therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes. We can discuss session frequency based on your needs — most clients start with weekly sessions.

Do you accept insurance?

Please contact us directly for current information about accepted insurance plans and out-of-pocket rates.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes. What you share in therapy is confidential, with limited exceptions required by law (such as imminent risk of harm). We'll discuss confidentiality in detail during your first session.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can reach out through the contact form on this site, call our office, or email kerith@lanecounseling.care. We'll find a time that works for you.
